BMW Compact Cup Race Series

2011 saw the start of the Compact Cup, a race series for BMW's E36 318ti Compact with the M44 1.9 engine. Tight regulations, limited modifications and series control items for vital parts of the car, make this series very affordable and offers extremely close racing for drivers of all abilities.

EDMotorsport has been involved from the beginning, and produced 2 cars for the first season, one of which achieved pole positions, fastest laps and 3 race wins.

EDMotorsport offer various preparation services for the Compact Cup competitor.

If required, we can carry out the complete conversion from standard road car to race ready Compact Cup car, all set up, tested and ready to go. We can also assist the self build competitor with single smaller jobs that may require a high standard of workmanship such as roll cage foot plates and the installation of safety equipment.

EDMotorsport can supply every single part required for a Compact Cup car build, from a wheel bolt to a suspension kit.

We are dealers for Cobra seats, GAZ suspension, Powerflex bushes, Millers Oils, EBC brakes, EDM grooved discs etc, etc.

EDMotorsport have also designed and supply some specially fabricated parts such as, Alloy heel plates, Alloy clutch foot rest, ABS carbon printed door cards.

We can also power test your Compact on our 4wd MaHa rolling road dyno, to ensure it's in good health and able to be competitive.

Throughout the race season we'll have a limited number of parts available to purchase from our truck in the paddock, such as brake discs & pads, track rod ends, master switch, pull cables, hoses, oils, brake fluid etc… the sort of parts that, without them, could easily spoil your race weekend.
